The Justus-Warren Heart Disease and Stroke Prevention Task Force was established in 1995 to provide statewide leadership for the prevention and management of cardiovascular disease.
Meetings are open to the public. Agendas, minutes and presentations are posted here.
The Justus-Warren Task Force is comprised of 27 members. Twenty-four are appointed by the Governor and the NC General Assembly, and three are designated representatives of the NC Department of Health and Human Services.
Through the Action Agenda, the Justus-Warren Task Force makes recommendations on legislation and policies to improve cardiovascular health. The Task Force creates reports for the NC General Assembly, Governor and stakeholders.
