The Stroke Advisory Council was established in 2006 to advise the Justus-Warren Heart Disease and Stroke Prevention Task Force on the development of a statewide system of stroke care and a system for identifying primary stroke centers.
The Stroke Advisory Council is comprised of members appointed by the Justus-Warren Heart Disease and Stroke Prevention Task Force. The enabling legislation prescribes categories of members to be appointed.
