The Stroke Advisory Council was established in 2006 to advise the Justus-Warren Heart Disease and Stroke Prevention Task Force on the development of a statewide system of stroke care and a system for identifying primary stroke centers.
The Stroke Advisory Council is comprised of members appointed by the Justus-Warren Heart Disease and Stroke Prevention Task Force. The enabling legislation prescribes categories of members to be appointed.
Meetings are open to the public. Agendas, minutes and presentations are available online and may be downloaded.
The Stroke Advisory Council utilizes work groups to focus on specific components of the Stroke System of Care Plan. Work groups are comprised of appointed members and partners.
